Zwei laborbestätigte Laguna Negra-Virus-Fälle in der Abteilung Tarija, beide tödlich (100% Fallsterblichkeit bei bestätigten Fällen). Sieben weitere Verdachtsfälle wurden ausgeschlossen. Bolivias nationale Überwachung meldete 2025 48 bestätigte HPS-Fälle mit 15 Todesfällen; der Tarija-Cluster ist der erste bestätigte Hantavirus-Todesfall von 2026.
